Most magazine promotional CDs come with one or two decent tracks and a lot of filler. But when the project is to cover U2’s iconic techno-pop album, Achtung Baby, you can recruit some serious heat for the tracklist. Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails and The Killers have all recorded versions of tunes from the album for Q Magazine next CD, AHK-toong BAY-bi Covered, which came with the November issue (on stands now). You can hear the three hit-makers cover “You’re So Cruel,” “Zoostation” and “Ultraviolet (Light My Way)” respectively after the jump.
