With the war drums of Hello Cruel World still echoing somewhere in the distance, the Skyrider Band have shifted gears and teamed up with folk troubadour Jim Wurster to unleash their unique brand of world-weary grit. Hired Hand finds a stripped-down Skyrider paying homage to their classic rock, country and folk influences with elements of psychedelia tucked neatly into the folds of Wurster’s stark, foreboding narratives. The nine track debut from Hired Hand, which will be released on October 25th via Fake Four Inc, is now streaming exclusively here at URB.com.
