STREAM Massive Attack vs. Burial Collaboration :: “Four Walls” (MP3)

No one would expect a collaboration between the moodiest of moody dubsteppers, Burial, and perpetually paranoid trip-hoppers Massive Attack to be a barrel of laughs. But this 12-minute epic takes the sound of both artists into depths we rarely hear.

The track is part of a two-song single scheduled to be released in the coming weeks on 180 gram vinyl, packaged in a gold glitter silk-screened sleeve designed by Massive Attack’s Robert ‘3D’ Del Naja. The other tune, a reworking of Paradise Circus from 2009’s Heligoland, is reportedly just as long and somber as “Four Walls,” which will make for one melancholy listen.

You can pre-order the limited edition (1000 copies) at vfeditions.com and massiveattack.com.
