Stephen Colbert has suddenly become the go-to guy for excellent music performances (better step it up Fallon). Hip-hop legends Black Star—Talib Kweli and Yasiin Bey (the rapper formerly known as Mos Def)—were on the Colbert Report last night to premier a new Madlib-produced song, “Fix Up,” as well as “Astronomy (8th Light).” But much like Radiohead’s Colbert appearance last week, the highlight was the interview with Colbert himself.
