Fan who caught Portishead’s performance this weekend at ATP were given a real treat when the band was joined onstage by Public Enemy’s Chuck D. The hip-hop legend hit the stage halfway through “Machine Gun,” the hair-raising highlight from Portishead’s 2008 album, Third. From there, he busted out several verses from the Nation Of Millions classic “Black Steel In The Hour Of Chaos.” Apparently the government is still suckas.

Another guest to hit the stage with Portishead was Simeon of the seminal group Silver Apples, who added some serious synth noises to “We Carry On.”
