French shoegazer Anthony Gonzalez of M83 has apparently found himself without a suitable touring-mate for his upcoming world tour, supporting the acclaimed new album Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming. To find the perfect performer, a posting has gone up on the M83 website, looking for “a multi-instrumentalist based in the Los Angeles area who can play Guitar, Bass and Keyboards. They should also be able to sing and ideally have previous knowledge of working with Ableton.”

Applicants are being asked to upload audition videos onto YouTube. The tour starts in October and will go for 12 months around the world. Not a bad gig if you can get it. Check out the M83 website for more details.
