In New York with nothing to do today? Shady Records is throwing themselves a party at the BRISK Bodega pop-up shop, featuring the label’s memorabilia and a special show with Yelawolf and Slaughterhouse later tonight. “The exhibit is a one-day-only experience celebrating Shady’s history and evolution to Shady 2.0,” the label said in a release. “Featuring exclusive artwork by Tristan Eaton and ARTEKNYC, the Brisk Bodega will give you up close and personal access to some extremely rare and never-before-seen gems from the Shady Records museum of memorabilia, including the puppet and set from Eminem’s Brisk “Claymation 2.0″ Super Bowl commercial earlier this year.”
From now until 5 pm, the pop-up shop, located at 159 Bleecker St., will feature memorabilia from 8 Mile, plaques from classic albums and various props and items from Eminem, D12, Yelawolf and Slaughterhouse, among others. The shop re-opens at 8 pm for the BRISK Bodega Private Shady Records Artists Performance with Yelawolf and Slaughterhouse.
Check BRISK Bodega for more details on the shop and tonight’s show.
