With a name combining the seemingly disparate worlds of timeless Cubist art and melted cheese on tortilla chips, Nacho Picasso is back with the latest single “Marvel” from his new release For The Glory. The 13 track affair finds the Seattle-based emcee unleashing his unique brand of witty punchlines over top-notch production from the likes of Blue Sky Black Death, Raised by Wolves, and Eric G of 9th Wonder’s Soul Council.
The video for “Marvel” is a comic nerd anthem set to the perpetually lush and intriguing tapestry of BSBD. In the clip we find our protagonist hiding weed in a hollowed-out bible, making a mean peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and, of course, burning one down while reading Wolverine. Picasso’s second solo effort For The Glory, with album art showcasing his metaphorical conquest of horse-assed vixens, is now available for free download on bandcamp.
