Are James Blake and Bon Ivers Collaborating?

The blogosphere has been known to make mountains out of molehills, but here’s something all fans of moody and somber music that gets impossibly good reviews can agree on—a collaboration beteween James Blake and Justin Vernon (aka Bon Ivers) has the potential to be pretty earth-shattering.

Of course, here’s not much to substantiate this rumor. Blake recently tweeted “24th August 2011 – James Blake & Bon Iver ‘Fall Creek Boys Choir.” Fall Creek is the town where Vernon owns a studio in Wisconsin. Then again, maybe the two were just attending church—on a Wednesday.

Nevertheless, Tweet it and you better do it, sayith the web. Someone call Kanye, he’s gotta get in on this.

the number of typos that run on the URB site is absolutely embarrassing, especially when they come in the focal artist’s name. Bon Iver guys. it’s not that hard.
