Northern California’s SF Outside Lands, grew up tonight, into the premier (and first of its kind) Music, Food, and Wine festival. Operating on a three day schedule for the first time since its inception, the festival opened to a raucous crowd that steadily grew in its fervor and love for all things culturally, sonically, and gastronomically edible.
WIth an expanded food vendor list, that could for all intents and purposes be called the all-star team of San Francisco’s recognized culinary scene, as well, as the slice of SF artisan wear provided guests from both the local and international swath a picture of why the festival deserves its merit as a ‘only one of its kind’ destination event.
The crowd in itself, as a terrific example of the cross section of Americana and cool that San Francisco has come to represent. Within the crowd one could easily run into the ironic scenester, the fashionista, the young, the old, the corporate, or hippie in search of the next great bite or sound.
