If you’ve ever been a fan of the blue-eyed soul stylings of artists like Dusty Springield, Duffy and even the late/great Amy Winehouse, you’re likely to find appeal in 18 year-old Chicagoan Kirby Kaiser. A newcomer whose tunes just popped up on the blogosphere for the first time yesterday, Ms. Kaiser makes doo-wop-infused pop, for which the subject matter varies from friends with benefits to unrequited teen love, all with a croon implicit of girl groups like the Shangri-Las and the Shirelles.
