Of all the great moments during LCD Soundsystem’s epic farewell concert at Madison Square Garden (DVD please), one of the finest was when comedian Reggie Watts hit the stage to do the soulful male vocals on “45:33 pt. 2.” Now Watt’s has told NYMag scene columnist that he and James Murphy have made plans to work on music together.

“I think it’s going to be a seven-inch single with a remix on the other side,” Watts told Vulture. I would be the vocals and we would probably be doing some kind of a cover. I’m going to guess sometime next year, early next year, or maybe — he’s a fast dude! Maybe he’ll turn one around.”
