Trek Life, the veteran MC representing Los Angeles, is preparing to release “Wouldn’t Change Nothing” a remix album to his critically acclaimed release “Everything Changed Nothing” on July 12th, 2011 via Mello Music Group.
The West Coast wordsmith received a generous amount of great remixes from the likes of Oddisee, Apollo Brown, Has-Lo, MarvWon, Slimkat78, J Bizness, Bombay and others, breathing new life to an already excellent album.
Today, enjoy the free mp3 download of the Apollo Brown remix of “What It Is,” a manifesto of sorts, proud in his Cali foundation and the key players involved, while proclaiming “Promoters get the dough right, some of us got kids, Shame we got to do it to death to try to live.”
