The duo of Sassha Crnobrnja and Alex Gloor are giving URB the business this week; you may know them as In Flagranti, the duo behind the Codek Records imprint and behind the sounds that twist the worlds of funk, Italo disco and New York-branded disco into something hip-shakingly good. Their last single release, “EX EX EX” was rinsed by disco and house impresarios worldwide as well as remixed by the likes of craftsmen like Bottin and Andy Butler from URB favorite Hercules & Love Affair. Their newest album, Worse For Wear, is also getting praise from international tastemakers such as Erol Alkan and the brotherly duo of Stephen and David Dewaele, better known as 2ManyDJs. In this exclusive pseudo-throwback mix, we get In Flagranti’s cosmic perspective of if the space-time continuum crashed between our current time and the peak of the late-night disco era back in the ’70s.
