So as you know this year is going to be Lolla’s major 20th anniversary and therefore the hype for who would play this years big celebration led people all over – for some reason – to pinpoint Eminem to headline this year and guess what, Eminem is! So is Coldplay, Foo Fighters and Muse (again?)…. as well as others ranging from a good amount of people who performed last year at North Coast Music festival and the usual “just released an album and now I’m doing Lolla” acts. Some of the people who I am very excited for are DOM, Cults, Deadmau5, Smith Westerns and Cage the Elephant. But even more so I think so far North Coast Music Festival is going to be the one to watch and beat Lolla at its own game. Already North Coast has announced people like: David Guetta, Wiz Khalifa, Little Dragon, Neon Indian and Thievery Corporation. Although there are some notable people at Lolla this year I’m just not going crazy over the lineup, not that I don’t like who they booked. To see the full Lollapalooza lineup go here.
