11 Faves (and Fails) of Coachella 2011

Coachella 2011 is now history, and once again America’s grassiest (and classiest) festival left a lot of impressions—most good, but always with room for improvement. Here’s URB’s faves and fails from the year:

CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, CROWD CONTROL

After last year’s “clusterfuckchella,” the festival’s reputation for logistics was on the line in 2011. Thankfully, the new wristband system and added security against fence jumpers meant that parking was easy, entry was easier, and the number of people on the field never exceeded a safe and comfortable level. Room to sit, stand, run, jump and dance on the always perfectly manicured polo field grass is a key part of Coachella’s charm. We enjoyed having room to move.

who the hell is writing this crap with all the grammatical and spelling errors…

“New rule for Jonathan Davis—if you’re band wouldn’t get booked for Coachella, then you don’t get to sneak in a few o your jock jam anthems via a guest appearance.”

it’s like a 5 year old is writing for URB now.

    gee guys… check your copy.

Many epic music and performance moments at The Do LaB’s stage as well! Plus
there were huge crowds from the moment the festival opened each day!

    Wolf Gang*

Unless they were referring to Lil’ B and The Pack aka The Wolf Pack

Or they were just referring to The Hangover.

    • URB.com says:

or maybe they deemed themselves the Wolf Pack since Wolf Gang was already taken. They weren’t exactly “interview ready” when we saw them.

You failed at spelling cashing. “caching”
