Good things happen in bunches, apparently; not only is Mary Anne Hobbs coming back to radio on the illustrious Xfm (during primetime on Saturdays starting in July), but she’s going on tour and taking URB along for the journey. Traveling across the continent for “The Road Warrior Tour”, Mary Anne doesn’t go solo for the entire ride; she’s got a rich cast of characters joining her out on her North American adventure. The tour will include showcases as well as solo sets from Mary Anne Hobbs, starting in Seattle on the 13th of April and ending in Montreal on the 29th of the same month. Guests alongside her for select dates (noted down below on the flier) will be Gonjasufi, Lorn and Take, along with Strangeloop providing his inventive and enigmatic visuals. Along the way, Mary Anne will contribute bits to URB about the tour, chatting about her experiences in certain cities and giving us an inside look on the life of a Road Warrior.
