Living Things has released a new mixtape titled Malocchio and I got the lucky chance to be able to stream “The Stupor” off of the seven song tape. The song itself is kinda that one stadium song where the video has closeups of the band backstage, an American flag in slow motion and the infamous panning into the lady in her tapered jeans and sleeveless white shirt waving her dirty blonde hair around like she was shouting for freedom from a bell tower. The rest of the mixtape is a splendid mix of gyrating inducing funk and soul and even some lower and more hypnotic songs. You can download it for free here. Living Things is also doing a four week residency at Satellite in Silverlake, CA every Monday night throughout March.
