Philly-based duo RYAT, comprised of vocalist Christina Ryat and composer multi-instrumentalist Tim Conley, are preparing for the March 8th release of LP “Avant Gold” by previewing a track for Urb entitled “Superficial Friction”. Now, lest you spent too much time trying to repeat that delightful jumble of syllables over and over, you should instead click below to check out to Christina’s highly sought-after vocal prowess, she is already featured on King Britt’s latest full-length “Intricate Beauty” and is a collaborator on Brainfeeder’s own Taylor McFerrin’s solo record.
So overtaken is RYAT’s community of peers by the witchy, glitchy, orchestral charm of their sound that there is already a slew of remixes by likes of Botany, White Rainbow, and King Britt himself waiting in the pipeline.
The sounds of “Avant Gold” will also be heard on tour starting today. Check these guys out live if you know what’s good for ya!
