Lots of artists “retire,” only to wheel themselves back onstage at a later date for nostalgia and monetary reasons. But if you know anythin about LCD Soundsystem head James Murphy, it’s that his punk principles run as deep as his clever cynicism. So when we read on LCDSoundsystem.com that the band will be playing their last ever show on April 2 at Madison Square Garden, we started looking at flights right away.
