At the beginning of 2010, in the face of the horrible tragedy in Haiti, reluctant rock gods Radiohead (who happened to be in Los Angeles recording) decided to throw a benefit concert at Hollywood’s Henry Fonda Music Box. In an ultra-intimate crowd of 863 people, we watched Jonny Greenwood, up-close and personal, manipulate sound in a million ways. While mere feet away, Thom Yorke whispered gently into the mic for a crowd so silent in rapture he barely needed the amplification.
Almost a year later, Radiohead have gathered up a fan footage to create a fully authorized 2-hour recording of this legendary night. you can watch he full show right here, or download the entire video (or audio) at Inez4Bears.
Just don’t forget to donate something to Oxfam while you’re at it. Haiti still needs our help.
