What becomes a legend most? It depends how close the actual person is to the legend. In the case of Ms. Lauryn Hill, it’s a series of winter performances. By way of an advance apology if your city isn’t on the list, here’s an overlooked, recent duet Ms. Hill did with the great Ron Isley — it’s a Carpenters’ tune which, as happenstance would have it, befits the season, for some.
