Eliot Lipp and Vyle aren’t brand new names, but their recent collaboration as Auburn is now rumored to be more than a one-off, which means we’re checking 2011 for a lot more of this future-shock hip-hop that recalls the heyday of Def Jux. So even though the legendary label went into hiatus in 2010, it’s reassuring to know that the next decade (which technically starts on Jan 1, 2011, you nerds) won’t have to live without that patented sound.
