This week’s URB podcast comes from two special acts from the country of Poland. Both well-buzzed and well-versed in their respectful sounds. the duo of Supra1 and the man known as The Phantom are making quite a stir not just in Poland but worldwide as well. With Supra1 putting together solid releases for Brooklyn’s revered Trouble & Bass label as well as an upcoming project with fellow Polish producers Catz N’ Dogz, the duo is primed to keep progressing into something bigger and better as time goes on. The Phantom is a completely different story; as his newest self-titled EP is currently out on Senseless Records (along with a visually scintillating video for his tune “Connect The Dots“), he’s only begun to scratch the surface. With both acts providing fantastic sets at Unsound Festival 2010 in Krakow, they collaborated on this mix, 50/50 style to show their similar yet different tastes in all things bass. If you want to know what Poland sounds like from the underground, this is your best chance to hear it.
