Texas-based production quartet Neon Indian offers an uber savory brand of electro synth and beyond on their latest  release Mind CTRL: Phsychic Casms Possessed.

Fronted by noted singer/producer Alan Palomo, the band’s incorporation of new-wave and soft rock samples over tasteful electronica compositions can be heard on the tracks “Terminally Chill (Yacht Remix)” and “Laughing Gas”. Other noteworthy tracks include the trippy “Deadbeat Summer (Toro y Moi Remix) and the sultry dance-floor piece “Ephemeral Artery”.

Their  sonic versatility however, is best displayed on the Biblio remix of the track “Mind Drips”–a four minute long drum n bass masterpiece complemented by beautifully crafted chord progressions and Palomo’s sensual falsetto- pitched vocals. This inspiring LP should not be missed.
