Swedish electro-goth Karin Elisabeth Dreijer-Andersson’s other project (besides her work with brother Olof Dreijer as The Knife) seems to be quickly becoming her main job. The typically faceless performer has contributed a new song to the soundtrack for the film Red Riding Hood, by Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke, which means tweens across the globe will soon be subjected to Fever Ray’s electro-banshee vocal stylings for the first time.
The film isn’t out until March 2011, but you can hear a snippit of the tune :45 seconds into the movie trailer. Although be warned, you will probably not want to see this movie, despite Amanda Seyfried’s bottomless basket of hotness.

I LOVE Fever Ray! And it’s all thanks to Red Riding Hood! Twilight sucked, but this movie wasn’t so bad. And Fever Ray’s “The Wolf” is just GENIUS, as well as “Keep the Streets Empty for me.” :D
I, too, am looking forward to the movie. It looks awesome, very visual. And I like Catherine Hardwicke. Despite what she was working with, “Twilight” actually wasn’t all that bad. Admit it, it could have been a lot worse. A LOT worse.
I’m actually rather excited for this movie. The romance bit seems too EdwardxBella, but I’m hoping the plot will make up for it.
