URB Premiere :: Saadi – Clotheslines (MP3)

The Syria-born and Brooklyn-based Saadi dabbles in everything from electro pop to post-punk, spilling into a sound all her own. She cites Brian Eno as a key influence and carries a style reminiscent of Santigold, as evidenced by the other-worldly flair of “Clotheslines.” Saadi’s Clotheslines EP, which features remix work from the likes of Lemonade, Douster, Daniel Haakman, Victor Rice and Lazy Flow, is out now via Dither Down. Those in NYC can catch a special release party tomorrow at Ella featuring performances from Saadi, Bajah of the Dry Eye Crew, and DJs Chief Boima and Uproot Andy.
