Remeber last year when all sorts of leaks from Daft Punk’s TRON score hit the internet, all to be revealed as fakes? Well, with three week’s until the album’s official release—an after three solid months of legit previews, leaks and teasers, a new six-minute segment of music has appeared. Alas, it’s hard to believe this is the real deal.

For starters, a quick listen to the new music sounds suspiciously like sounds from other legit music teasers, re-essembled with added cliche cinematic strings and horns. While a soundtrack can certainly repeat motifs, it’s unlikely that Daft Punk would be so brazen in their repetition. Second, and probably more revealing, is the fact that the song was posted to Official FM, tagged as Daftworld exclusive. However, the track is not posted on either Daftworld websites (yep, there’s two).

So do you even want to bother to listen? What the hell, it’s the internet, right?
