Resident Advisors :: America’s Best Local DJs (Week 3)

richie 400x266 Resident Advisors :: Americas Best Local DJs (Week 3)

RICHIE PANIC (San Francisco)
Like most local wonders, Richie Panic has had more residencies than could fit on a business card. So we’ll pick just one to hang his hat on—SF’s weekly Blow Up events, that have been packing in the kids for the genderless (fine, call it hipster) mix of party music for half a decade.

  3. Cody says:

Heck out boyhollow, knows how to keep the crowd moving non-stop. I would love to see this guy get the national attention that he deserves, as long as he’s back for Lipgloss on Friday.

  4. Emma says:

Boyhollow from Denver is awesome. Started one of the longest running nights around, Lipgloss, ten years ago. Any night or party he puts on is a good time – never been to one where the entire crowd was not dancing all night.

  5. chck boyhollow from denver! http://www.denver3.com …best party denver has had for the past 10 years straight!

  6. I was really surprised not to see dj boyhollow (www.boyhollow.com) on this list – he started Lipgloss (http://www.denver3.com/) in Denver, which won Westword’s best Club-Night in Denver 8 times, 8 times!!! He’s one of the most accomplished and respected dj’s in the country, and has opened for many international acts performing in Denver. Please make sure you add him to your list, that was one BIG miss!

BOYHOLLOW from Denver is an amazing DJ. Puts on an amazing show every Friday at one of Denver’s longest running weekly events, Lipgloss, as well as puts on great shows at other venues and parties around town.He supports a lot of other local music and is a very down to earth guy. Has time to talk to and get to know everyone. I’ve never been disappointed in his presence.

  8. boyhollow (www.boyhollow.com & facebook.com/boyhollow). Started Lipgloss (www.denver3.com or facebook.com/lipglossdenver) in Denver, an indie/electro/dubstep party that has been going for 10 years this June. Has played with everyone I can think of: Bloody Beetroots, Mstrkrft, Phoenix, La Roux, Girl Talk, Miike Snow, LCD Soundsystem, etc. Seems like Denver gets screwed on all of these lists.

  9. Jackie P says:

DJ Cosi is NY-based, awesome and has gained a super-loyal following and has perfected the art of DJing! He manages the flow of a party and anticipates dancers’ needs. Check djcosi.com. People can’t get enough!!!

  10. Rosa says:

Rob Wonder from Atlanta needs to be on this list!!!! check out robwonder.com

  11. Tony Tsey says:

Skitsnygg! NYC DJ Doing it different than everyone else.

  12. Suzzy says:

I would highly recommend Dj Jadestone – Denver, Colorado … Amazing mixing, Hip-hop to electro clash.

Skitsnygg from Brooklyn. He’s so good. I always love seeing him

  15. Svet says:

Junior Vasquez for being the grand queen of house and totally turning it out all summer long at Love (NYC) on Sundays.
    Long live the Queen!!!

  16. Andy says:
