Before the Vegas quality stage show, white gorillas and coca-cola commercials, Basement Jaxx were just two kids from London making house records far better than anything folks seem able to churn out these days (sorry, kinda true). The duo’s seminal ’90s releases on their own Atlantic Jaxx records are still some of the finest deep dancefloor tracks ever issued, even though some of the earliest cuts—on the easily titled EPs 1-3—have been criminally out of print for well over a decade. Finally (and possibly after some urging by URB at this year’s Electric Daisy Carnival), Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe are re-releasing all of their early tracks on iTunes, Juno and the rest. It all goes digital on Oct. 26, but check out “Deep Inside Your Love” now to get just a taste of the steamy hi-hat goodness coming our way.
