For those who are in limbo of what to do of awesome events in Brooklyn and won’t be able to make it to money making Manhattan, we have created an awesome alternative of the best Brooklyn bands to showcase and strut their stuff. Its start early so get you running shoes on.

1pm Tamar Haviv Spike Hill Start your day off with a mix of Ithaca and liverpool madness. Girls away from Girls sounds likea cool song and the name is very catchy. Ta-mar Haviv.

3 pm Oh Mama Bear Spike Hill Spread love is the brooklyn way.  You can’t beat a name like this.

7:30 Woodsy Pride Union Hall If you’re into some country sounding electronic music,   honky tonk vibe that sells vinyl records with their EP release  on vinyl coming november on All Hands Electric, I think you might jam out to this music. Its mysterious..and kick ass.

8:15 Death on two Wheels Music hall of Williamsburg Row row row your car, gently off the bridge (merrily merrily..etc) yeah the name is awesome and thats half of the reason but no slouches play MHW.

10: 10 pm. Kosha Dillz CoCo 66 Do you like bad ass Jewish kids with felony convictions, funky jams, and good ol’ weirdness? Kosha Dillz is the next big thing to come out of NJ since Pace Won of the Outsidaz and Redman with a yamulkah on. He leads the heavily stacked Shemspeed showcase along with Tes Uno and Y love that’ll bring out tons CMJ students who don’t make it to the Duckdown/Blacksmith showcase @ Le Poisson Rouge. Oy Vey.

11:15 Kyle Rapps: Coco 66 You can check his songs with KRS on MTV and he’s been in XXL BET and all those cool things that rappers need to be at. Ironically he hasn’t  been to Asia , but he has recorded with Planet Asis (he has recorded some of his music in Africa) and word has it, that this ferocious emcee with dreadlocks and children education skills works as a Poet during the day and a MC at night.

12:30 Homeboy Sandman: South Paw (unofficial) NYC’s top MC  has people going coco for fruity loops, or coco puffs, or whatever cereal you might enjoy in the morning. Just imagine your favorite beats, weirdest call and response system , along with tons of artists enjoying the show..then imagine other amazing artist like Blu and Outasite and P.So on the same bill. If you can get to Park Slope it sort of is…a pain, but if you only make it to top off the end e of your night with hip hop, this is it.

Manhattan Mention: Pharoahe Monch: 12:30 Le Poisson Rouge

I have had the honor of seeing these guys rock everything from soundcheck to  showtime. (along with showtyme) His show is phenomenal, on point with delivery and if you can’t get out your seat, he will tell you to…Get the F$#k up! Check for Dj Boogie Blind with him on the cuts.
