Turbo Records is releasing an EP compiling their fave remixes of recent Turbo tunes, played heavily at Turbo artist tours over the summer, which included Tiga, Chromeo, Felix da Housecat and otherTurbo acts—or something like that. Branding confuses me sometimes. Here’s Diplo doing the Diplo on Proxy’s Turbo release “8000.” Kinda cool how he takes the exact same exotic flute-type intrument sample that sounded Eastern Europeans in the original, and makes it feel totally tropical. But again, that’s what a Diplo does, doesn’t it Dr. Seuss?
