You have to hand it to Converse, they succeed in the viral content game where much larger brands fall flat. This custom collaboration between Joe and Alexis from Hot Chip, UK producer duo Hot City and dance-pop legend Bernard Sumner of New Order wins because it’s done for the latter what he hasn’t been able to do on his own for a decade—create a great New Order sounding track.

You can imagine the younger four producers gasping in reverence of the elder Sumner before getting down to the business of creating one of Sumner’s best post-NO collaborations. All that’s missing is Johnny Marr on guitar and Neil Tennant on vocals ala Electronic.
