Pitchfork is reporting that the new N.E.R.D. song, “Hypnotize You,” was produced by Daft Punk. Pharrell and Co. played the new song on Late Night With David Letterman. One might wonder why a group featuring producer superstars The Neptunes need to bring in the french dance gods, then we remember how forgettable the last Neptunes record was. The new song we think will have more staying power.
