Common Grackle

Common Grackle is a Canadian duo consisting of Factor on the beats and Gregory Pepper on vocals. Their hip-hop meets indie pop sound brings to mind Broken Bells, but with a few added doses of melancholy. Guests on their critically-acclaimed Fake Four debut The Great Depression include Ceschi and Kool Keith.
Factor has been a busy man this past year, having already released the stellar Lawson Graham as well as Saffron alongside Moka Only. His lush production, which has become a favorite of some of underground rap’s finest over the past decade, is perfectly suited for the awkward yet catchy crooning of Gregory Pepper.
