This isn’t the first rumors we’ve heard about a Daft Punk tour, but The Daily Swarm is reporting that everyone favorite robot duo will be hitting the road next summer—this time confirmed by someone from their booking agency.
Rob Light, Managing Partner and Head of Music of CAA, which represents Daft Punk, has said he expects the film soundtrack and tour will lead a dance music juggernaut worldwide. “This is going to be the biggest tour of next year,” he recently told the Daily Swarm.
This news of course comes as Daft Punk ramp up for their involvement in TRON-Legacy. A dedicated website for the soundtrack produced by the duo went live this week and real music has already be up on the film’s official site. The robots will reportedly make several appearances, as well as perhaps some surprise live sets at screenings. The duo will not take part in the ElecTRONica party launching at Disney’s California Adventure on Oct. 8.

I saw this really great post today….
I like the electronic music of Daft Punk. It’s always party when you hear them. It would be great to know the tour scheds of this 2 amazing guys. They’re cool!
So I did some looking into it, and TheDailySwarm.com removed the article where Rob Light is being quoted. I looked and looked over the interent and could only find the quote on a few other blogs. I sent the editors of TheDailySwarm.com an e-mail (cuz this is kinda a big deal) and this was there response:
“Addison:
Thanks for getting in touch – I wrote the article, and later removed it. Can’t really comment further. Sorry!
Best,
David Prince”

p.s.
I shoulda mentioned that the other blogs cited the TheDailySwarm.com as their source for the quote as well
coming back with a BIG BANG! Rad!
