Whitneyavalon, a youtube star? Makes a response to Cee-Lo’s “Fuck You” and I ROFL all over the floor. At first when I heard the song I was like, something here is not sitting well with me, not one bit. I listened, I listened and was still not able to place my finger on it because my mind was being clouded with such a catchy beat and vocals. Now this new video comes out and it all makes sense! I guess when I wrote that review about the video I found Cee-Lo funny for looking like a crazy dude who keeps hair in a bag. I think this comment from Jezebel summarizes it all up, “This woman rules. Because as much as I disliked the Cee Lo song, I didn’t go out and make a pretty insightful, funny, cutting response. It may not be as good as some kind of professional parody, and it may seem a little overly serious (going to court, etc.) but you know what? Women deal with this shit all the time, and rarely does anybody write pop songs about it. No, instead we constantly get the male perspective about “the bitch that refused the love of my manly, well-endowed heart, and now deserves my public and/or midnight harassment.”
sounds like some aspiring Sarah McLachlan caught some feelings and decided to make some derivative bullshit for small fame. Here’s a thought, come up with a thoughtful original song, and then people over the age of 16 might take your music career seriously. just like dudes can be assholes, women can be vapid, selfish cunts sometimes. just cause Cee-Lo and many other fellas say “fuck you” to a bitch that did him dirty, doesn’t make him a stalker. just deal with it honey.
