The second annual Electric Zoo festival experience (provided by the lovely people at Made Event) is hitting New York City’s Randall’s Island once again this weekend and anyone who loves bass in their face is more than thrilled at this point. Sure we have the commercial big-name acts such as Armin, Benny Benassi and Major Lazer headlining the festivities, but what about the acts that are on the bill that aren’t plastered all over the Beatport charts and regurgitated by Jersey Shore culture? Here’s the five under-the-radar acts that you should check out at the Zoo. Picks after the jump.

Martyn Electric Zoo 2010: Five Must See Artists

Martyn is already one of the better artists in the world of experimental sound, and with a recent tune coming out on Berlin label Ostgut Ton, he shows no signs of slowing down. With an upcoming All City collaborative release with Mike Slott, Martyn starts a set early at Electric Zoo and will showcase exactly why his tunes are so immerse, by selecting tunes that are sonically stimulating as well as close to his own heart.
