Following half a decade of unabated growth, the American dance music scene finds it’s largest audience yet at the 100,000 strong Electric Daisy Carnival. Sadly, the death of a 15-year-old attendee and issues with crowd control puts a bad media spin on the event. The City of Los Angeles cancels a contract for EDC promoter Insomniac’s next event—a concert performance by trance mega-star Tiësto at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Insomniac sues for breach of contract. The saga continues.
