Longtime Cobblestone Jazz cohort Jules Chaz is preparing to release his first album, Toppings, a rather un-techno pieces of work on the rather techno label, Wagon Repair. To prep us for the instrumental hip-hop shift, the Canadian musician/producer offers up this exclusive mini-mix featuring snippits of Hall and Oates, Julee Cruise, reggae and bangra samples, with cameos by Cobblestone keyboardist Danuel Tate and fire-spittin’ emcee Ishkan.
