When it comes to super-clubs, few in America have the staying power of Avalon, the Spanish Colonial venue in the heart of Hollywood that’s been packing ‘em in for almost a decade. And when the next chapter in LA clubbing history is written, there best be a whole section on Avaland, the Saturday night party that has become legendary for hosting the world’s biggest DJs, playing on a great soundsystem, surrounded by elaborate and ever changing decor, to a crowd of seriously up-for-it party people.
