There’s a reason why Metallica has never full recovered after the documentary Some Kind of Monster showed the band at their most childishly neurotic as they underwent group therapy. In this age of Twitter-access, we think we want to know everything about our stars. But if we really knew the truth, it’s often a turn-off.

So what to think about the preview for Wu-Tang Revealed, this official doc shot mostly by GZA over the years, that seems to imply that the Wu have spent much of the past decade standing around arguing in the kitchen of their very nice houses. Is it off-putting to see grown men still talk about “aim my gun at you” and “I want my million.” when sitting in suburban luxury? But then again, those big bottles of Tropicana OJ aren’t cheap.
