Who doesn’t miss Sufjan Stevens. It’s just like yesterday I played his music while walking around kicking balls of sleet off my feet. Now it’s 2010 and he releases this emotionally transparent cry and I flock to it like a moth to the light. It isn’t like Sufjan makes the kind of music that takes a couple days to make, it’s so complex. The opener “All Delighted People” sounds like something that would be used to score the apocalypse, the reconstruction and the survivors journey to paradise. All Delighted People EP features 8 new songs including a 17 minute guitar jam “Djohariah” which according to Ashmatic Kitty is for the single mothers. You can stream it here or purchase it on Monday through digital distributors for 5 bucks. 5 bucks! That’s cheaper than a baconator and probably much healthier. Sufjan Stevens is also on tour this fall playing in historic theaters all across the US.
