Trip Aces: Evidence/Celph-Titled/Skyzoo & Torae (MP3)

Do You Guys Like Music?

Remember when URB reviewed every damn song under the sun? Surely you recall the days when you went to this thing called a newsstand and read every little blurb then put it back on the shelf without paying for it (you cheap raver mutherfuckers, go hug a tree with your glowstix taped to your asscheeks). I kid, URB is trying to save the planet but nothing can save the world of print media (tears streaming, thanks a lot God, or as he is now commonly referred to, Jobs-Gates)

If you’re like me, you’ve grown to rely on this delightful monstrosity known as the Internet. Having bump-able mp3s on your daily travels is a must. Nothing is worse than a half-assed playlist, so here’s a trio for all you Trill O.G.’s (ahem, I’m as big a proponent of the Bun Beater as any Longhorn sippin’ lean down in P.A.T. but how about a little journalistic integrity, oh yeah, that other rag checked theirs at the door long ago, new management? “met the new boss, same as the old boss;” in fairness the coveted Cinco Microphones has to be a Jeff Russell/Halle Berry/Martin Scorcese Academy Awards situation, body of work/trying to right the wrongs of the past…” Without further a doo-doo:

Evidence, “To Be Continued” Yes this isn’t new but the slammin’ Cali-drenched video is. This will not be featured on Ev’s forthcoming Rhymesayers debut, Cats & Dogs, so I don’t feel so bad about the piracy. Sid Roams on the boards, Babu on the cuts.

Celph Titled, “Step Correctly.” Off the October 26 project Nineteen Ninety Now. You can wear your Phat Farm visor while listening to this one, since Celph was given the keys to D.I.T.C. producer Buckwild’s mid-90’s vaults for the whole album. You Cali heads know about this smarmy Demigod through some of his features with Styles Of Beyond. This guy talks mad shit; feel free to giggle but also look over your shoulder, since I think homie might make you run your chain for doing so.

Skyzoo/Torae/Curt@!n$, “The Incredible.” An exclusive courtesy of those meth-heads over at 2dopeboyz (do you guys ever sleep?). Illmind simply slaughters the studio with his Cypress “How I Could Just Kill A Man” re-hash. Sky & Tor murkantile this thing and the guy with the punctuation in his handle doesn’t ruin it. Be on the lookout for Sky & Illmind’s Live From The Tape Deck (Oct. 6 on Duck Down, NoHa/DruHa, holler at the kid, I get the pussy cause the bitches think I’m Spanish, too).

Until next time, you ungrateful nerds.

Source = trying to stay relevant. No one even cares about 5 mics status anymore, sorry. Bun B is that dude, but that wasn’t a classic any damn way you slice it.
