Amazing remixes were submitted for the 1st annual Outside Lands /URB.com remix contest powered by MixMatchMusic. Entrants from around the world competed for a once-in-a-lifetime chance to DJ at this year’s festival. After torturous deliberations among the judges, the grand prize winner is Nisus for his remix of Gogol Bordello’s “Transcontinental Hustle”. The 3rd annual Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park is less than a month away. URB.com has teamed up with the festival for our best remix contest yet. Anyone can participate using MixMatchMusic’s Mix Maker remix software that works inside your web browser. We’re featuring four different artists and songs to remix including “Trans-Continental Hustle” by Gogol Bordello, “Highly Suspicious” by My Morning Jacket, “D’s Hips” by Rebirth Brass Band and “Merry Go Round” by Beats Antique.
