April was Alcohol Awareness Month so I posted a video from Timmy Grins called Last Call which exposed some of his personal demons with alcohol abuse in order to spread awareness.
The video was received very well so Timmy’s hip hop group, Lam & Grins released a single called Legacy (Launch Your Life) Pt. 1. Legacy is a “seize your day” type of rap crafted from the wisdom of Grins’ grandfather. The video, filmed and directed by Tommy Oceanak, allows the viewer to accompany Timmy on a mountainous morning run. It is where the video ends that the real story begins.
Grins is currently training for the Chicago Marathon on 10/10/10. He is running to raise money and awareness for the struggle that his grandfather is now enduring with the deadly disease of Alzheimer’s.
