If Diplo was to somehow come into possession of a Delorean or a phone booth or some other time-traveling vessel and then go back in time–twenty eight years–and explain to the band Men Without Hats that he was going to extrapolate a sample from their insanely infectious opus “The Safety Dance”, and glue a thumping bass line onto it while a crew of Alabama rappers toasted to life in the fast lane, their minds would have been blown.
However, manipulating the space-time-continuum for the sake of blowing the minds of Men Without Hats would have changed the course of time and we may not have Paper Route’s new banger “Stop N Go. I would, however, like to see if the Montreal-based band digs PRGz and Diplo’s usage. I think they’d think it was ill. Nab “Stop-N-Go” here.
