His third full-length album veers away from his hip-hop roots and boldly neglects the post-Dilla, wonky sound that he helped popularize on 1983 and Los Angeles. The ArchAndroid is a boring album that fizzles and bursts, but never fully explodes. Clearly your ears are damaged if you regard it as a “good album”.
