Although this tape actually dropped last week, I’m just now getting around to posting it. Lateness aside, this project simply knocks. For those not familiar with the producer Falside, he is a Rhode Island-based beatsmith who has recorded with many of the finest emcees in hip-hop, including a recent stellar album with Reason of Poorly Drawn People. This time around, Falside uses an eclectic mix of samples to craft the mostly instrumental Jesus Shaves, lacing beats that can stand up to those of just about any other hip-hop producer.
