All City Records continues their wonderful LA 10 x 10″ series, this time featuring Carlos y Gaby and GB (Gifted and Blessed). The duo of Carlos y Gaby (Carlos Nino and Gaby Hernandez) and GB, highlight’s some of Los Angeles’s best kept secrets. Carlos Nino is one of LA’s musical driving forces, organizer, producer, arranger, composer, and DJ. He’s worked with Dwight Trible, seminal jazz group Build an Ark, MC John Robinson, and has released a slew of records via labels such as Ninja Tune, Kindred Spirits, Alpha Pup and others. He’s also responsible for the Suite for Ma Dukes EP alongside Miguel Atwood-Ferguson. GB (Gifted and Blessed) has worked with folks such as Steve Spacek, Daz i Kue (Bugz in the Attic), King Britt, and many others, and released a critically acclaimed album via Sound in Color.
